Let’s be honest, no one likes church fundraising campaigns. Whenever a church has outgrown their space or has a need that requires raising capital far above their normal operating budget, people can get annoyed if it’s not done correctly.
That’s why we love projects like this one where we’re tasked with helping the church body capture the vision behind the campaign and understand why the leadership has chosen to head in this direction.
In this case, catching the vision was easy for me (Steve) because this was my home church, and it was to raise money for a new youth wing that will be where my own daughter’s classrooms will be.
In order to help cast a vision of “Future Generations” while still staying on-brand for the church (Evergreen tree photos, Gray/Green color palette), we found a selection of photos from tree farms—especially focusing on the saplings as representations of the next generation.
The end result was a beautiful brochure that stayed consistent with Grace Community Fellowship‘s overall branding, but was visually unique to the campaign itself.
